Grenada IMA Strengthens Partnership with HSG International During China Visit

The Investment Migration Agency (IMA) of Grenada, the government body responsible for administering Grenada’s Citizenship-by-Investment (CBI) program, continues to deepen its engagement with the Chinese market through its strong collaboration with HSG International, the official developer of the Grenada National Resort.

From November 2–4, IMA Chairman Richard Duncan OBE and Deputy CEO Karline Andris Purcell visited Chongqing, where they presented the latest updates on Grenada’s CBI program and highlighted its benefits for investors seeking international mobility, portfolio diversification, and long-term legacy planning.

Showcasing Grenada CBI at Chongqing Summit

During the visit, Chairman Duncan and Deputy CEO Purcell participated in the Chongqing Immigration Summit, where they presented Grenada’s CBI program to an audience of Chinese investors and industry professionals. Chairman Duncan explained that Grenada’s CBI program is a strategic avenue for Chinese investors to achieve global mobility, diversify their wealth portfolios, and engage in long-term legacy planning.

They also highlighted Grenada’s unique treaty with the United States, which offers eligible investors an additional pathway to establish business and professional ties in the U.S., further enhancing the global advantages of Grenadian citizenship.

Global Wealth Mobility and Legal Insights Forum

HSG International and IMA co-hosted a dedicated partner sharing session at the summit, which drew strong participation from immigration industry partners and Chinese investors eager to learn about Grenada’s CBI program, one of the Caribbean’s most trusted and forward-looking programs.

Chairman Duncan also provided a timely update on the newly established Eastern Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Regulatory Authority (ECCIRA), formed earlier this year by five Eastern Caribbean nations — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Lucia. ECCIRA is designed to create harmonized regional standards for due diligence, marketing, and compliance to further enhance investor confidence in the CBI programs of these nations.

Visit to HSG Chongqing Office

Chairman Duncan and his delegation visited HSG International’s Chongqing office for discussions with local partners and the sales team on how Grenada’s CBI program can best serve high-net-worth Chinese investors seeking global advantages in mobility, taxation, education, and business expansion.

He reaffirmed the Grenadian government’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in the citizenship application process and praised HSG International’s continued dedication to quality and progress at the Grenada National Resort.
