This week, the spectacular Levera region of Northern Grenada came alive with celebration as Heng Sheng Group (HSG) hosted a grand New Year Gala to welcome 2026. The gathering was dedicated to ushering in the Year of the Horse—a symbol of energy, speed, and victory.
Distinguished guests, including Grenada’s Honourable Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, Speaker of the House Leo Cato, and the Chairman of Investment Migration Agency (IMA) Richard Duncan OBE, joined partners, investors, and colleagues from Grenada and across the globe.
The Gala was a testament to the strong relationships HSG has built worldwide. Attendees traveled from North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe to share in the festivities. It was an occasion of double joy, celebrating the topping out of GNR’s first hotel tower as well as the Chinese New Year.
Rising impressively above the festivities was the silhouette of the tower, which has officially topped out at 17 floors to become the tallest building in Grenada—a proud visual reminder of the momentum at the resort.
“Today, we have come together from all over the world. We are here to witness something special… and we are here to plan our shared success for the future,” HSG Chairman Yuanfa Li told the guests.
With 2026 set to be a year of transition from construction to operation, the atmosphere was one of optimism for the next chapter of this exceptional destination.
“We will continue to build with the highest standards and dedication. Towards our goal of making Grenada National Resort a new, world-class landmark for the Caribbean,” Chairman Li said. “This project is a shining example of what Heng Sheng Group can achieve.”
