Grenada’s Prime Minister and IMA Celebrate Topping Out of GNR’s First Hotel Tower

Heng Sheng Group (HSG) celebrated a landmark achievement on 11 February with a ‘topping out’ ceremony for the first hotel tower at Grenada National Resort.

The structure has now reached its full height of 17 floors, a significant step forward for Grenada’s largest Citizenship by Investment (CBI) approved development, a 400-acre master-planned resort located in the spectacular Levera region on the northern tip of the island nation.

The topping out ceremony, a long-standing tradition marking the placement of the final structural beam, was attended by Grenada’s prime minister and other senior government officials, the leadership of the nation’s Investment Migration Agency (IMA), and partners and representatives of HSG from across its global network.

The project’s progress was praised by Grenada’s Prime Minister, the Honourable Dickon Mitchell, who highlighted its future impact on the nation’s economy.

“The topping out of this tower is a powerful symbol of Grenada’s progress. The Grenada National Resort is a major investment in our future that will not only generate crucial, long-term jobs for Grenadians, but will create a new era of opportunity for our tourism sector,” Prime Minister Mitchell said.

“This world-class resort will attract visitors from across the globe, solidifying Grenada’s position as a premier luxury destination in the Caribbean. We commend HSG for their commitment to this vision, which stands as a testament to the strength of our Citizenship by Investment Programme.”

Highlighting the successful collaboration with the Grenadian government, HSG Chairman Yuanfa Li expressed pride in his team’s accomplishment and reaffirmed the company’s ambition for the resort.
“This milestone marks a proud moment for the entire HSG team and all our partners. Reaching the full height of our first hotel tower is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our workforce. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of the Government and people of Grenada,” Chairman Li said.
